In the Catholic Church, each parish is a separate entity that needs to be able to support itself financially. You can be sure that when you give, your donation goes directly to supporting the running of your local parish. Every Catholic has the right to receive the Sacramental and pastoral support of their local parish, so we do not charge for any services, but we are dependent on the voluntary generosity of our parishioners to be able to keep running.
As the administrative costs of running a parish continue to increase, and the numbers attending Mass tend to decrease, parishes can only stay financially viable if Catholics provide at least some support, even if they are not regular Mass attenders. Of course, we would even more gladly welcome your presence and participation in our parish community!
Our Planned Giving Program has been set up to make giving convenient and consistent for you. It also helps us by making it possible to plan our finances more accurately. Signing up does not create an obligation to continue and we do not send prompts or reminders if you fall behind.
